Careful crematories use a numbered tag, often metal, that stays with your dog from collection through cremation and comes back with the ashes, along with a certificate. Ask whether private means your dog is alone in the chamber, as some providers use partitioned cremation with several animals separated. Get the answer in writing.
Will a pet collection team come to an apartment building in Turin?
Yes. Collection services in big cities regularly work in apartment buildings and high-rises. Tell them the floor, whether there's a service elevator, where they can park and whether building staff need notice. For a larger dog, ask for two people and a stretcher. Many families find it more private to arrange collection at a quieter time of day.
